An institutional site that earns its institutional weight.

The KKL Sayarot programme had been operated across four legacy web properties whose information architecture had drifted apart over a decade.

The brief

Context, constraint, and the part that mattered.

The brief was a single site that consolidated the programme into one navigable surface and looked like the institution behind it without leaning on the institution's heritage as a substitute for design. We rebuilt the IA around the programme cycle, simplified the visual system to a small set of primitives the institution can operate, and shipped a site that the team has not asked us to touch since handover.

02
Approach

What we did, in the order we did it.

  1. 01

    IA from the programme cycle

The information architecture follows the programme's annual cycle, not the institution's internal departments. Visitors find what they came for in the same number of clicks every season.

  2. 02

    Operable by the team

Every page template is operable by the institution's in-house team. No template requires our involvement to update.

04
Outcome

The numbers we agreed to ship against.
